Design Championship organizes India's biggest online design and coding competition for Kids. Since its inception in 2014, more than 85,000 kids across India have built 5200+ Games, 1200+ Movies, 2500+ Graphics, 800+ Apps and 1100+ 3D Designs.

For the 8th year in a row - Design Championship is looking for kids aged 6-16 years across the country who are willing to put their Coding skills to the test and shine at this competition. Categories include App Design, Game Design, Graphic Design, 3D Design, Coding, Web Design and Movie Making.

The Regional Level Coding Competition will be conducted online from 18th Aug till 1st Sep 2021; Regions include Region 1 (North & East), Region 2 (South 1), Region 3 (South 2), and Region 4 (West). The Regional Winners will compete for the National Level Coding Competition in Oct 2021.

Design Championship is the perfect opportunity for kids to get recognized by industry experts for their coding skills. Encourage them to participate in the coding competition and send their best work to win big.

Here are the details you need to know for participating in the Coding Competition for kids:

Category levels:
Beginner: 6 to 7 years
Junior: 8 to 10 years
Middle: 11 to 13 years
Senior: 14 to 16 years
Team Size: Individual Participant or Max. 5 Members

Coding Competition Structure:
To participate in the coding competition, kids must register themselves as Individual/Team on the Design Championship website. Post registration; they’ll receive the confirmation mail along with the Unique ID and Password. Once the theme (a problem statement brief) is announced on the website & social media (21 days prior to the event date), participants will work on their coding project based on the theme issued for the category and submit a presentation of their solution to the problem statement with detailed logical steps and flowchart, in PDF format only, before the mentioned deadline.

Then, the jury round will take place on an online video conferencing platform wherein they will interact with the kids, give their expert feedback on their projects, and later, announce the Regional Level Winners and Runner Ups category-level wise.

Only the Regional Level Winners will compete for the National Level Coding Competition. Based on the new theme issued for the coding category, kids will submit their final project before the mentioned deadline; they will also get a mentor to work on their final project. After the jury round, the Winners and Runner Ups category-level wise for the National Level Coding Competition will be announced.

Prizes at the Regional Level Coding Competition:
The Winner & Runner Up Teams for Beginner Level, Junior Level, Middle Level and Senior Level will get a Trophy and e-Certificate of Achievement.
