Design Championship is India’s Biggest National Design Championship that provides a platform for school students, age 6 to 16 years, to showcase their creativity and talent in App Design, Game Design, Graphic Design, 3D Design, Coding, Web Design and Movie Making. Since its inception in 2014, more than 100,000 participants across India have built 6000+ Games, 1500+ Movies, 3000+ Graphics, 1200+ Apps, 1000+ Web Design, 800+ 3D Design, 800+ Coding Projects.
Students from all over India, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates can participate, and the regional round will take place as per the pre-defined schedule. Students’ projects will be evaluated by an online jury comprising industry experts and eminent personalities from the education fraternity. The regional winners will compete in the DC Final.
The winner and runner-up team at the DC final in each category will receive a team trophy and a certificate of achievement. The winner (those who are not winner and runner up of the DC Final) and runner-up team at the regional level competition will get a team trophy and a certificate of excellence as well.
The competition empowers students with digital, life, and design skills that are essential to thrive in the future workplace. They can choose their career in the design and tech fields: marketing, sales and advertising, arts and crafts, broadcast media, performing arts, journalism and publishing, construction, healthcare, engineering, and manufacturing.
The competition is a fun and beneficial form of learning wherein students get exposed to brainstorming sessions and online self-learning sessions guided by industry experts. It encourages them to think outside the box and allows them to explore and become proficient in using 21st-century tools and software to create their projects and prototypes that offer solutions to real-world problems.
